The R.E.D. Album is the upcoming fourth studio album by American rapper and West Coast hip hop artist The Game, which is due to be released on August 23, 2011 through Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records after almost two years of delays since late 2009. Unlike the album's several previous release dates, The Game has confirmed that the new release date is permanent.
Recording sessions for the album have been taking place at Ameraycan Recording Studios in North Hollywood, California, at Encore Recording Studios in Burbank, California and at Paramount Recording Studios in Hollywood, California from 2009 onwards. According to Game, Dr. Dre, Pharrell Williams and Mars (of production group 1500 or Nothin') will be executive producing the album.
